Document Description

Giving notice is the first step in the eviction process. In Texas, a 3 Day Notice is required unless otherwise specified within the lease.

Who: Give this notice to a tenant who has violated a provision of the lease or Texas State law.

What: This is the required written notice that informs the tenant they must vacate, or face court proceedings.

When:This needs to be sent BEFORE filing for a Forcible Entry and Detainer lawsuit.

Please Note: This notice does not provide the tenant an opportunity to fix the situation.
