Landlord Question and Answer Forum
not paying power and water
Hello,
I'm new at this. In December we rented our house we were living in. The renters did sign an ez-landlord contract which included for them to pay power, water and garbage.
Here in Washington the landlord is apparently always responsible for utilities.
To make a long story short no utility has been paid, the garbage is piling up on the back deck. They signed a 6 month contract. Any solution?
Thanks Sabine

Where did you read / hear that the LL is responsible for utilities? What type of property are you renting...single family, etc.
