Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have several documents that call for the signature of the Landlord. I am the owner and have a person who is acting the property manager. I had assumed he would be the landlord and therefore be able to sign documents with that title. As the owner, I do not get involved in the day to day activities of the property and the tenants only intereact with him. Does that make him the Landlord and me the Owner or am I both the Owner and the Landlord and he is simply an agent of the landlord?

RE: Landlord vs. Owner
The landlord may be the owner or the owners assignees, representatives and so forth. This may be spelled out in a lease or a ltter may be send later to explain the circumstances.
