Renter that left the apartment
The lady that was renting my apartment left the apartment without telling me. She was already 3 months late on her rent. I was able to call her to confirm at least that she had left the building and that she is living somewhere else. Now the lease with her would still be good for 2 more months...Can I rerent the apartment with someone else knowing that information? I mean I don't have anything to proove that she broke the lease except that she told me she moved out and I told her I would not charge her those extra months since I will find someone to take over her lease.
Thanks,
Jonathan

You are free to re-rent the apartment to someone else, as she broke the lease and abandoned the rental unit.
