This form must be completed by the owner of a rental property as soon as it is acquired. Simply download, print, and complete the form, and then file it with DHCD.

Who: This form must be completed and filed for rental properties that do not fall under the exempt status.

What: District of Columbia RAD Registration - Claim of Exemption Form is required for all properties that are not specifically exempt from the Act.

When: As soon as you acquire a new property.

Important: Proof of Ownership must be presented with the form.
