Giving notice is the first step in the eviction process. The notice required in Kansas for non-payment of rent for leases that are more than 3 months is a 10 Day Notice.

Who: Give this notice to a tenant who is behind on their rent.

What: This is the required notice giving the tenant a choice to pay or vacate before eviction proceedings are initiated.

When: Give this notice as soon as your tenant is behind on rent beyond a grace period, if any.
