On the other hand, prohibiting animals altogether may severely limit your pool of applicants. If you decide to welcome pets in your rental property, you can use this form to clearly state your expectations for animal care, upkeep, and behavior from the beginning, as well as to explain your policies for the repair of any pet-related damage.
Who: Tenants who own pets
What: Sets forth your policies for pet ownership and care in the rental property.
When: At lease signing, or when an existing tenant asks permission to bring home a pet.
