Landlords of multiple dwelling units are required, at the tenant’s written request, to install and maintain window guards in the public halls and in the apartment of any tenant who has a child 10 years old or younger who lives in the apartment or who is regularly present in the apartment for a substantial amount of time. Cite: N.J.S.A. 55:13A-7.13.
